Around the Horns

I’m back in business.

Yesterday, I arrived home after work to a sight that made my heart tremble:

A small, yellow, bubble-wrap envelope was stuck halfway into our mailslot.

It contained a replacement pen for my Wacom Bamboo Capture pad.

I lost the original one somewhere between the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and the greater Denver / Santa Fe metropolitan area (that’s not really thing).  I’ve been in mourning ever since.  Until last night.

Celebrations took the form of a completely random, just-for-fun drawing of a character inside my head.

Embers

I have no idea what’s supposed to be happening in this picture.  There may be some sort of fire going on nearby, or an explosion of a box filled with very small packing peanuts.  And apparently, in this world animal pelts are in season.

Not much else to say at this time other than it feels good to draw again.
