This time of year is hectic.  Life becomes a flurry of work events, gift buying, and holiday parties, all competing for time.

Art-making tends to get put on hold.

I wanted to post some new work, lest you worry that something dreadful has happened to me.

Mystery Man

This intriguing image was a by-product of another project.  It was created to serve as the shadow layer under a line drawing.  The line drawing turned out to be no good, but this phantom-image stands on its own.

Does this look like anyone you know?

I hope December is treating you all well, and I hope to soon resume regular posting.

I like images like this as my mind tries to fill in the blanks! Although it allows me to see a different face every time!
